Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine
  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Extra Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside while you prepare the meatballs.
  2. In a bold mixing bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and form into meatballs, making them about 1 inch in size.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the meatballs and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  6. Serve the dish with extra Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

Pairs well with a garden salad and crusty bread. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days.
