A comforting dish featuring crispy Parmesan crusted chicken smothered in a rich garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the grated parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Sear the coated chicken breasts in a skillet with olive oil until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer. Stir in fresh herbs and season to taste.
  8. Drizzle the creamy garlic sauce over the cooked chicken.
  9. Serve the chicken with your choice of sides.

Notes

Pairs well with mashed potatoes or fresh pasta. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3 days in an airtight container.
