  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Create the crunchy crust by mixing Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a springform pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  5. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  6. Stir in the sour cream until the batter is smooth.
  7. Fold in the chopped Oreos carefully.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared crust.
  9. Bake for approximately 1 hour until the center is set.
  10. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. Garnish with additional chopped Oreos before serving.
