A cozy and delicious recipe for baked dumplings enveloped in a rich, flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1420 Frozen Dumplings (Trader Joe’s or any grocery store brand)
  • 3 Tablespoons Red Curry Paste
  • 3 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil (or oil of choice)
  • 14 ounce Coconut Milk (1 can, full-fat recommended)
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Ginger (minced or 1 tsp dried)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced or frozen garlic cubes)
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey (or real maple syrup)
  • Cilantro (for garnish)
  • 2 Green Onions (sliced)
  • 12 Tablespoons Chili Crunch
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Baby Spinach (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a medium baking dish or ovenproof skillet.
  2. Whisk together the coconut milk, red curry paste, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  3. Place the frozen dumplings in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Pour the luscious sauce evenly over the top, making sure the dumplings are mostly covered.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the dumplings are tender.
  7. Top with fresh spinach if using, so it wilts slightly in the heat.
  8. Garnish generously with fresh cilantro, sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and a splash of chili crisp. Serve immediately.

Notes

This dish pairs well with cucumber salad or steamed jasmine rice.
