A comforting dish featuring ravioli enveloped in a creamy, cheesy carbonara sauce with crispy bacon and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • Ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • Bacon (chopped)
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ravioli according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Crisp the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring to mix.
  5. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Combine the cooked ravioli with the carbonara sauce; season with black pepper and salt to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and optionally more parmesan.

Notes

For a meat-free version, swap bacon for sautéed mushrooms or spinach. To lighten the dish, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
