Delightfully soft chocolate chip cookies filled with creamy Nutella for a sweet surprise.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Nutella (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually blend into the buttery mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Take a small ball of dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center.
  7. Enclose the Nutella with the dough and roll it into a ball.
  8. Place the cookies on a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can freeze them for up to 3 months.
