A delightful combination of creamy, tangy, and fruity flavors, this No Bake Strawberry Layered Dessert is easy to prepare and perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional) for topping

Instructions

  1. Mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press into the bottom of a serving dish to form the crust.
  2. Beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy and smooth to create the cream cheese layer.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture along with the vanilla extract.
  4. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
  5. Layer the strawberry puree over the cream cheese mixture evenly.
  6. Repeat the layers, starting with the remaining cream cheese mixture and ending with the strawberry puree on top.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired for added crunch.
  8. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor. You can substitute with other berries or make a vegan version with alternatives for cream cheese and heavy cream.
