A creamy and rich New York Cheesecake with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form a solid base for your cheesecake.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese, mixing until thoroughly combined.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and heavy cream until the mixture is completely smooth.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
  9. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for another hour.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure cream cheese and eggs are at room temperature for the best texture. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
