- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, and microwave in additional 30-second intervals until melted.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a large bowl, add Rice Chex cereal. Pour chocolate mixture over the cereal and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a large zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake until coated.
- Spread onto wax paper to cool before serving.
Notes
For added crunch and flavor, you can include crushed nuts or M&M’s. Try using white chocolate chips or almond butter for a twist.
