  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture, and mix well.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients to maintain a fluffy texture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each scoop.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
