Delightful M&M cookies with a crunchy texture and rich chocolate-filled candies, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M candies
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients on the counter.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time and then mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  7. Fold in M&Ms and nuts, if using.
  8. Scoop mounds of dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  9. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Best served warm with milk or ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week.
