A comforting dish that transforms a chuck roast into a tender and juicy meal infused with rich flavors.

Ingredients

  • 45 lbs chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 68 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
  3. Add the pepperoncini peppers on top, along with the butter.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes, or until the roast is tender and shreds easily.
  5. Shred the meat with two forks and stir it into the juices before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or use leftovers for sandwiches. For extra heat, include sliced jalapeños.
