An indulgent dessert that features layers of rich chocolate and a playful topping of fluffy marshmallows, capturing the essence of family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter until everything is well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie pan to form your crust. Bake for 10 minutes to set it beautifully.
  2. Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until they’re light and frothy. Gradually add in the sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, mixing until the batter is smooth and velvety. Pour this rich chocolate mixture over your pre-baked crust and spread it evenly.
  3. Return the pie to the oven and bake for an additional 25 minutes. The filling will rise slightly and set as it bakes, creating that signature fudgy texture.
  4. Remove the pie from the oven and sprinkle the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips generously on top. The heat will start to melt the chocolate and lightly toast the marshmallows, creating a gooey layer.
  5. Whip the heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form. Once the pie has cooled completely, spread the whipped cream over the entire surface.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving. This step allows the flavors to meld beautifully and makes slicing a breeze.

Notes

Pairs perfectly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
