A comforting slow-cooked chicken dish with bold flavors from ranch seasoning and au jus gravy, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 pepperoncini peppers (whole)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in a slow cooker, ensuring they’re evenly distributed for uniform cooking.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix generously over the chicken.
  3. Place the butter on top of the chicken.
  4. Add the whole pepperoncini peppers around the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender.
  6. Shred the chicken right in the slow cooker and mix it with the delicious juices.

Notes

Serve Mississippi Chicken over rice or in sandwiches. Leftovers can be stored for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
