A delightful dish that combines the rich flavor of salmon with the umami of miso paste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the miso paste, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the miso glaze generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Do not overcook the salmon; it should be tender and flake easily with a fork. You can also add a dash of chili flakes for spiciness.
