A fun twist on classic jalapeño poppers, these egg rolls combine a creamy, spicy filling with a crunchy exterior, perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 jalapeños, chopped (fresh or pickled)
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in the sides, and roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

Best served hot with dipping sauces like ranch or salsa. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
