Delightful mini pancakes filled with melty chocolate chips, perfect for breakfast or as a fun snack!

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Combine dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Preheat the cooking surface: Preheat a mini pancake maker or griddle over medium heat, and grease it with cooking spray.
  5. Pour the batter: Carefully pour a small amount of batter into each mold or directly on the griddle.
  6. Add chocolate chips: Add a few chocolate chips in the center of each pancake.
  7. Cover with more batter: Spoon a little more batter over the chocolate chips to keep them hidden.
  8. Cook and flip: Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip carefully and cook until golden brown.
