A nostalgic meatloaf recipe that brings warmth and comfort, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf.
  4. Prepare a baking dish and place the formed loaf inside. Spread ketchup on top.
  5. Bake for about an hour until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for a few minutes after baking.
  7. Slice the meatloaf and serve.

Notes

For added moisture, incorporate diced bell peppers or mushrooms. Allow the meatloaf to rest before slicing for better texture.
