Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the Base Ingredients: In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar.
  3. Melt the Butter: In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat until it becomes brown and nutty.
  4. Form the Crust Mixture: Mix the melted brown butter into the flour mixture until crumbly.
  5. Shape the Tart Shells: Press the mixture into mini tart pans and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Prepare the Filling: Whisk together the brown sugar, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  7. Incorporate the Brown Butter into the filling mixture.
  8. Fill the Tart Shells with the maple filling.
  9. Bake the Tartlets for 15-20 minutes until set.
  10. Cool Before Serving, allowing the tartlets to cool completely.
