A light and airy mango mousse that captures the essence of tropical flavors with just a few simple ingredients.

  • 2 ripe mangoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mango Puree: Peel and dice the mangoes, then blend until smooth.
  2. Dissolve the Gelatin: In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in warm water and let it cool slightly.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Combine the Ingredients: Gently fold the mango puree and dissolved gelatin into the whipped cream.
  5. Chill the Mousse: Spoon the mixture into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 3 hours until set.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve chilled, optionally garnished with fresh mango slices.

Notes

Ensure mangoes are ripe for the best flavor. You can substitute fresh mango with store-bought mango puree if needed.
