A delightful dessert combining chewy mochi with sweet mango puree, perfect for summer treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup glutinous rice flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 ripe mango, pureed
  • Potato starch (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Mix the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and water until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a microwave-safe container.
  3. Cover and microwave for about 2 minutes, stirring halfway through until it becomes sticky and translucent.
  4. Let it cool slightly before mixing in the mango puree.
  5. Dust your work surface with potato starch and turn out the mochi dough.
  6. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls or flat discs.
  7. Roll each piece in potato starch to prevent sticking.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

For a rich touch, serve with sweetened condensed milk or alongside coconut ice cream.
