Delightful chicken twists wrapped in flaky pastry, infused with a mango glaze for a sweet and savory experience.

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup mango sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the mango sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Cut the chicken breast into strips and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips.
  5. Wrap each marinated chicken strip in the puff pastry and twist into fun shapes.
  6. Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush each twist with egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

These twists are perfect as appetizers or a main dish, best enjoyed with cucumber salad or steamed jasmine rice.
