Deliciously nostalgic Magic Cookie Bars with layers of graham cracker crust, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, coconut, and nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with a bit of cooking spray or butter.
  2. Mix together graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a solid base.
  3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust, spreading it out carefully to cover all the corners.
  4. Sprinkle the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts over the condensed milk.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  6. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, toast the nuts lightly before adding. Use a sharp knife dipped in warm water for clean cuts.
