  • 1 pound lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken or seafood broth
  • 1/2 cup diced vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the vegetables in melted butter over medium heat until tender.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add the heavy cream and broth, stirring until thickened.
  4. Add the lobster meat, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika, stirring to combine.
  5. Pour the lobster mixture into a pie dish.
  6. Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the lobster filling, sealing the edges.
  7. Brush the pastry with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a crisp salad or roasted vegetables. Optionally, add wine to the filling for extra flavor.
