  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the heavy cream and granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest.
  4. Let the mixture cool slightly in the saucepan.
  5. Pour the creamy mixture into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  6. Once set, remove from the fridge and serve chilled, garnished as desired.
