A quick and delicious Korean dish featuring savory ground beef and fresh veggies over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, sliced

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  2. Drain any excess fat for a leaner dish.
  3. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Spoon the beef mixture over the cooked rice.
  5. Top with green onions, shredded carrots, and sliced cucumber. Enjoy!
