A refreshing twist on classic key lime pie, these bars feature a buttery graham cracker crust and a creamy key lime filling, perfect for sharing.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • Zest of 2 limes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, egg yolks, and lime zest until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the crust and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  6. Let it cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
