A refreshing dessert that combines sweet and tart flavors in a delightful Key Lime Pie Bar, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • â…“ cup sugar
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 large egg
  • Whipped cream (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl, then press into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
  3. Whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, key lime juice, lime zest, and egg until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling over the crust in the baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the filling is set but slightly jiggly.
  6. Let the bars cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  7. Slice into squares and serve with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh key lime juice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
