  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the mushrooms in a large skillet with olive oil until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix the chicken, sautéed mushrooms, garlic, heavy cream, thyme, oregano, and seasonings in a large bowl until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle the chicken mixture with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before garnishing with parsley.
