A quick and simple recipe for a deliciously juicy steak topped with a rich garlic cream sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet, cooking for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and add Dijon mustard, stirring to combine.
  7. Simmer the sauce until it thickens.
  8. Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a deeper flavor, consider adding mushrooms to the garlic while sautéing.
