A delicious blend of spicy and creamy, these cheesy jalapeño poppers are the perfect appetizer for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 6 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Bacon bits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Sprinkle bacon bits on top for added flavor (optional).
  6. Coat each stuffed jalapeño with breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with ranch or spicy sriracha mayo. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
