A quick and indulgent dip that captures the warm, sweet flavors of classic pecan pie, perfect for sharing.

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans, lightly toasted

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until fully melted.
  2. Add the packed brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring gently until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Incorporate the sweetened condensed milk and cook over medium-low heat while stirring constantly for 6 to 8 minutes until thickened.
  4. Finish by stirring in the vanilla extract and salt until well combined.
  5. Add the toasted chopped pecans and fold until coated.
  6. Serve warm in a bowl with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.

Notes
