A creamy and fluffy honey buttercream frosting perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 24 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
  2. Add the honey gradually and mix until combined.
  3. Incorporate the powdered sugar one cup at a time, mixing on low speed.
  4. Fluff the mixture by increasing the speed and beating until airy.
  5. Adjust consistency by adding heavy cream or milk until desired thickness is reached.
  6. Mix in vanilla extract if using.
  7. Frost cakes or cupcakes immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for best results and adjust honey to taste.
