Decadent chocolate mousse served in charming cups, topped with whipped cream and peppermint for a delightful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate (semi-sweet or dark), melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Peppermint extract (to taste)
  • Chocolate cups (store-bought or homemade)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Crushed peppermint (for topping)
  • Mini marshmallows (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Combine sugar, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract in another bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
  4. Spoon or pipe the mousse into chocolate cups evenly.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes to set.
  6. Top each cup with whipped cream, crushed peppermint, and mini marshmallows before serving.
