  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Toss the sliced peaches with lemon juice and set aside.
  3. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Press half of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Layer the sliced peaches over the crumb base.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture evenly over the peaches.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Drizzle with honey while the bars cool.
  10. Slice and serve once completely cooled.
