Delightful dessert bars combining juicy peaches with a crumbly topping and a honey glaze.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the softened butter to the dry mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press two-thirds of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Layer the sliced peaches evenly over the crumb base.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the peaches.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Drizzle honey mixed with warm water over the cooled bars before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
