Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the ground meat, cooked rice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs and place them into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and golden.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve over rice.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. Adjust the sweetness of the glaze to your taste.
