A comforting dish featuring sweet and savory flavors with tender chicken coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts
  • Olive oil
  • Honey
  • Minced garlic
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • Optional: Ginger
  • Optional: Cornstarch
  • Optional: Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using) in a mixing bowl.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet. Pour the honey garlic mixture into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm with rice or veggies.

Notes
