Sweet and soft mini donut bites with a honey butter glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (for glaze)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill the mini muffin tin about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the glaze by melting butter and mixing it with honey and vanilla while the donuts are baking.
  8. Remove the baked donuts from the oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Dip each donut bite in the honey butter glaze to coat.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For the best taste, serve warm. You can also experiment with different spices for added flavor.
