A delightful homemade strawberry ice cream celebrating the flavors of summer with fresh strawberries, creaminess, and a touch of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Blend the strawberries and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  2. Combine the strawberry puree with heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Transfer the churned ice cream into a container and freeze for about 4 hours until firm.
