A delightful and customizable homemade granola recipe that is crunchy, sweet, and easy to make.

  • 1 cup favorite nuts (like almonds or walnuts)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dried fruits (like raisins or cranberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rolled oats, nuts, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Melt honey (or maple syrup) and coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract once the sweet mixture is smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well.
  6. Transfer the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  8. Cool the granola completely before mixing in dried fruits.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
