A rich, creamy, and flavorful dip perfect for gatherings, made with a blend of cheeses and savory beef.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 4 Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1 lb Cooked and Crumbled Beef (or turkey/plant-based crumbles)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • Hot Sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of your shredded cheese in a large bowl until well blended.
  4. Combine the beef, chopped green onions, and any additional spices or hot sauce into the cream cheese mixture and mix evenly.
  5. Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Use room-temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and drain excess fat from the meat to prevent greasiness.
