A quick and easy skillet meal packed with the flavors of taco night, featuring ground turkey, black beans, and corn.

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese (optional)
  • Chopped cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground turkey with the chopped onion and bell pepper over medium heat until the turkey is fully cooked.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet to keep things lean and healthy.
  3. Mix in the black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and salsa, allowing all the flavors to come together.
  4. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until everything is heated through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed to enhance the flavors.
  6. Garnish with shredded cheese if desired and top with chopped cilantro before serving.
