Celebrate Taco Tuesday with these delicious ground beef tacos that are easy to make and perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Taco shells or tortillas
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with diced onions until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning, adding water and letting the mixture simmer for a few minutes.
  3. While the beef is simmering, warm the taco shells or tortillas in the oven or microwave.
  4. Assemble tacos by adding the beef mixture to each shell, followed by toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  5. Serve immediately, adding sour cream and salsa as desired.

Notes

Leftover taco filling can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
