A delightful dish that combines tender chicken breasts with the bright flavors of lemon and creamy feta, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 large lemons (juice)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated chicken breasts to the hot grill or skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the chicken in the final minutes of cooking.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Slice the chicken, top with remaining feta, and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Allow marination for longer for enhanced flavors. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked properly.
