A delightful no-bake dessert featuring a rich chocolate crust and a creamy mint filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup crème de menthe liqueur
  • 1/4 cup white crème de cacao
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, continuing to beat until everything is well combined.
  3. Stir in the crème de menthe and crème de cacao. If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring for a brighter color.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until blended.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Optionally, garnish with chocolate shavings or fresh mint leaves just before serving.

Notes

For an alcohol-free version, substitute the liqueurs with peppermint extract and vanilla extract.
