  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your donut hole pan.
  2. Whisk together the gluten free flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Mix the applesauce, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each donut hole cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
