Delicious gluten-free donut holes that are fluffy, subtly sweet, and bursting with flavor, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free flour blend
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Combine the gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix together the applesauce, almond milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Bring the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients gradually, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fill the muffin pan, about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before removing from the pan and enjoy fresh out of the oven.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month.
