A delightful dish of shrimp glazed with garlic butter and Parmesan, perfect for quick dinners or impressing guests.

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (or olive oil)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (fresh squeezed preferred)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the shrimp with minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat, then stir in half of the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Pour the butter and cheese mixture over the shrimp and toss.
  5. Spread the shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until pink and opaque.
  7. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving.
  8. Serve immediately with pasta or crusty bread.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are well dried before mixing. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
