A delicious and comforting one-pan meal combining tender chicken, creamy Parmesan cheese, and fluffy rice with the rich flavor of garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in rice, chicken broth, and parmesan cheese, mixing well.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and let simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is tender.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure the chicken is evenly seasoned with salt and pepper. Stir the rice mixture well before returning the chicken for even cooking. Adding more parmesan or cream can enhance the creaminess.
